Updating your Address Book

If pages are falling out, and you have scratched out addresses multiple times, its time to update your handwritten address book. Rather than hand write the addresses in a new book, why not type them into an electronic address book, database, or EXCEL spreadsheet. You can then print labels, using a word processor and stick the labels in the book. Labels make the book easy to update--just print out a new label. What's more, having a database of addresses come in handy for holiday cards and other multiple mailings you may do.
If you have already created an addresses in OUTLOOK EXPRESS, you can easily merge these addresses in MS WORD to print labels. For instructions, consult word's print merge helper or help files. If your addresses are a Palm Pilot type organizer, you can print labels from that address book.
