New Delhi: Online job portal Naukri.com on Thursday launched a tool -- Naukri PayCheck-- which would help users in analysing a salary benchmark for a role in a particular field based on some specified criteria like experience, education or city.
"Users can use the tool to plan their career by mapping change in salary with a change in experience, industry, functional area or city and comparing multiple salaries on the same sheet," Naukri.com said in a statement.
The tool offers broad-based information on compensation across sectors, cities and experience levels based on a database of over 10 million profiles, it said.
Apart from jobseekers, recruiters can also use the tool to benchmark salaries in an industry across functions and experience levels.
With Naukri PayCheck, recruiters can estimate how much to pay prospective employees, and also make appropriate offers to retain worthy employees, it further said.
The tool gives users salary information relevant to their individual profiles, intelligently harnessing the data it draws from the huge bank of resumes in the portal, Naukri.com Senior VP, Product and Technology, Vibhore Sharma said.
"Users can find, with one click, jobs that can pay them the most for their profile," Naukri.com added.
